PURPOSE:To improve the maintenance performance by making the setting revision of a system program of the store and forward exchange simple and accurate implementing in a short time independently of the setting position. CONSTITUTION:FEPs 21, 31, 32 of a facsimile store and forward exchange and a host computer 1 are connected by a transmission line of a high speed packet communication network and the host computer 1 transfers a system program for version-up to the FEPs 21, 31, 32 to store the system program to the storage device of the FEPs 21, 31, 32. When the FEPs 21, 31, 32 are re-started, the current system program is revised into the version-up system program stored in the storage device according to the revision program stored in advance in the FEPs 21, 31, 32. |
