SUPPORT DEVICE FOR SAFETY HELMET

In general, support devices for stabilizing a safety helmet on a wearer's head include straps or webbing extending downwardly from the usual webbing in the interior of the helmet. A simple, easily installed device for mounting in new or existing safety helmets includes an inverted T-shaped body, the stem and crossbar of which are both concavo-convex for attachment to the rear interior surface of a helmet so that the device more or less conforms to the rear of the wearer's skull. The bottom crossbar engages the nape of the neck for stabilizing the helmet on the wearer's head.
