PURPOSE:To allow quantitative confirmation of suppression effect on each higher harmonic without requiring any load facility generating higher harmonics. CONSTITUTION:A high capacity higher harmonic suppressor comprises parallel connected active filters 1, 2 for higher harmonic suppresser and higher harmonic generator. The higher harmonic generator 2 is connected with an each order higher harmonic signal generator 3 for controlling higher harmonics. Each phase higher harmonic having reverse phase is generated from the higher harmonic generator 2 by altering command value and each order higher harmonic suppression amount of the higher harmonic suppressor 1 is varied thus confirming each order higher harmonic suppression effect quantitatively. |
