PURPOSE:To provide the receiver in which other signal than a signal received by an internal BS reception circuit is fed to a built-in MN converter especially and a MUSE broadcast is recorded with respect to the satellite broadcast receiv er (BS tuner) incorporating a MUSE-NTSC converter (MN converter). CONSTITUTION:When an internal BS reception circuit 1 does not receive a MUSE broadcast, a microcomputer 9a selects switch circuits 21, 22 to the position of an external side to apply a MUSE broadcast received by an external tuner to a built-in MN converter 3 and a switch circuit 24 to the position of the MUSE broadcast, then an output of the MN converter 3 is outputted again externally.
