METHOD FOR ACCEPTING AND CONFIRMING JOB EXECUTION

PURPOSE:To provide the method for confirming whether or not a requested transaction job is accepted as requested synchronously or asynchronously with the transaction job request as to electronic mail drive type job execution control which requests the transaction job execution of a host computer through an electronic mail system. CONSTITUTION:An electronic mail server 4 and a job control terminal 2 are arranged between an electronic mail terminal 3 and the host computer 1. A job control terminal 2 control the transaction job execution on the host computer 1 and accepts the transaction job execution request from the electronic mail server 2. The job control terminal 2 sends the accepted transaction job contents, transaction job ID, and execution predicted time back to the electronic main server 4 to request an answer. Consequently the accuracy of the transaction job is improved and further a chance of correcting the transaction job is given.
