PURPOSE:To prevent runaway caused by executing patch correction to a monitor program when debugging a patch correction enable microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:When the execution of a debugging object program in a RAM 57 of an in-circuit emulator 55 is commanded from a general-purpose computer 61, a permit signal 53 from a control circuit 56 is turned on and a gate 51 is opened. Therefore, when the executing address of a CPU 34 is coincident with a correcting address in a correcting address register, a coincidence signal 45 is supplied to a correction data register 32, correction data flows to a data bus, and the patch correction operation is started. When the execution of the monitor program in a RAM 58 is commanded, the permit signal is turned off. Therefore, the gate 51 is closed, even when the executing address is coincident with the correcting address, the coincidence signal is not supplied to the correction data register, and the patch correction operation is not started. |
