发明名称 WIRE FOR SUPERCONDUCTING PERMANENT CURRENT SWITCH AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF
摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a wire in which Nb filaments become superconductors with zero electric resistance when cooled to very low temperatures by grouping and arranging a number of Nb filaments inside an alloy base generated by diffusion of Zn or Ni in Cu or Cu alloy. CONSTITUTION:An in-situ alloy obtained by dispersing Nb dendrite in the metal base of Cu or Cu alloy, or an in-situ wire obtained by reducing the diameter of the in-situ alloy is used. A cover layer made of either Zn or Zn-Cu alloy is provided around the alloy or wire to form a covered composite wire. Next, the diameter of the covered composite wire is reduced and a number of Nb filaments are arranged in groups inside the metal base. Next, Zn or Ni in the cover layer is dispersed in the metal base through heat treatments to increase the electrical resistance of the metal base so as to obtain the wire desired.
