<p>PURPOSE:To improve the dispersion efficiency of dust into molten iron and to efficiently recover zinc in the dust by charging agglomerate obtd. by granulating zinc-containing dust mainly consisting of iron oxide produced from an iron work into a molten iron ladle simultaneously with the molten iron. CONSTITUTION:Instead of blowing the zinc-containing dust 15 mainly consisting of the iron oxide into the molten iron 24 from a top-blowing lance, the dust 23 granulated into the agglomerate is charged into the molten iron ladle 22 simultaneously with the molten iron 24. Then, the iron oxide in the dust 15 is reduced in the molten iron 24 and recovered in the molten iron 24 and zinc oxide in the dust 15 is reduced and vaporized and recovered. In such a way, before bringing the zinc oxide 15 into contact with the molten iron 24, this work is repeated without dust-collecting and the zinc concn. in the dust 15 is improved and the dust is incorporated into a hopper 14E.</p> |
