PURPOSE:To improve developability, to enable easy reproduction up to very small dots and to increase a developing speed when development is made by using an automatic developing machine by using a polyethylene(PE) glycol deriv. and alkane diol having carbon atoms of a specific value. CONSTITUTION:The PE glycol deriv. and the alkane diol are used. The PE glycol deriv. having the weight average mol.wt. of a 100 to 1000 range is used. The developer contg. the PE glycol deriv. having <100 weight average mol.wt. is so strong in the power to dissolve a photosetting layer that the effect of lowering the boundary adhesive power of the photosetting layer and a silicone rubber layer is small if the weight average mol.wt. exceeds 1000. The amt. of the PE glycol deriv. to be used is 2 to 98wt.% in a developer. The alkane diol having 4 to 15C is used. The effect of lowering the boundary adhesive power between the photosetting layer and the silicone rubber is small if the carbon atoms exceed 15. The amt. of the alkane diol to be used is 2 to 98wt.%.
