ULTRASONIC FLAW-DETECTING INSPECTION EQUIPMENT FOR FITTED BOLT

PURPOSE:To furnish ultrasonic flaw-detecting inspection equipment which can be operated from outside a water chamber so as to increase reliability and, moreover, which can inspect even fitted bolts of which the heads are different in a shape. CONSTITUTION:A steam generator SG has a water chamber 5 partitioned by a partition plate 6 and a manhole 28 communicating with the water chamber. Ultrasonic flaw-detecting inspection equipment for a fitted bolt 2 of this partition plate has a guide rail 3 which can be fixed to the partition plate, an inspection truck l which is mounted on the guide rail movably along the guide rail, and a cylinder which positions the inspection truck for the fitted bolt and fixes it at a prescribed position. This inspection truck is provided with a flaw- detecting device which is so movable as to surround the fitted bolt in a state of being submerged in water and to inspect it by an ultrasonic probe.
