Class 98(1) [Also in Groups XXXV and XL(a)] The collector electrode of an X-ray device 12, Fig. 1, which produces a beam symmetrically distributed throughout an angle greater than 180 degrees (see Group XL(a)) is disposed within a tubular portion 11 which may protrude into a patient's mouth so that the generated X-ray beam may pass through all the teeth and activate a film 14 on a film holder 13 disposed around the tube 11. The holder is in the form of a parabola so as to fit the sides of the jaw as shown in Fig. 2. |
