A pad structure for a steering wheel, in which an energy absorption member is attached to a steering wheel separately from and independently of a pad so that, when the pad is pressed for operating a horn switch, the energy absorption member is not moved in accordance with the movement of the pad. This pad structure enables a pressing force applied to the pad to be reduced, and the horn switch to be operated smoothly. |
