PURPOSE:To obtain an immunological carcinostatic agent having broad carcinostatic spectrum, by preparing a water-soluble or easily water-dispersible protein and glycoprotein from the raw cell membrane of the organs of mammals through specific steps, and using the protein, etc. as active components. CONSTITUTION:The organs of mammals, preferably the livers, spleens, etc. of cattle, pig, etc. are cleaned by removing the blood vessel, connective tissue, and adipose tissue therefrom, and the remaining cells are homogenized together with an isotonic liquid. The homogenized liquid is centrifuged, and the obtained supernatant liquid is dialyzed with an isotonic liquid or water. The dialyzed liquid is concentrated and dried to obtain water-soluble or easily water-dispersible protein and glycoprotein, which are used as the objective immunological carcinostatic agent. The immunological carcinostatic activity can be further improved and the preservability can be improved, by adding an aldehyde compound as a biotissue fixing agent to the supernatant liquid obtained by the centrifugal separation, thereby immobilizing the active component. |
