<p>A trigger clamp for detecting the rotational speed in motor vehicles and motorcycles is proposed by means of which ignition pulses can be evaluated. The trigger clamp comprises a ferrite core formed of two shells, both core halves carrying a high-inductance winding. The result is that, due to the low-pass characteristic of the winding, the spark head is masked out and furthermore the trigger clamp is more immune to interference whilst being more sensitive. <IMAGE></p> |
