<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate a factor causing improper putting stroke for a short distance due to the easy change of face direction due to the reaction of a ball, when a hitting face position deviates from a sweet spot only by a small amount, as seen in a conventional putter, and further eliminate any other improper factors causing improper putting stroke. CONSTITUTION:Regarding a putter-shaped golf club where a face section 4 is provided between a toe 1 and a heel 2 at the front and back sides of a shaft end, the toe 1 and heel 2 are made of a metal material having large specific gravity, and an intermediate section 3 is made of a material having small specific gravity. In this case, the toe 1 and heel 2 occupy an area between 60% and 65%, and the intermediate section 3 occupies an area between 40% and 35%.</p> |
