<p>PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recorder by which a high speed recording is carried out by skipping blocks having no print in the scanning thereby shortening single scanning time. CONSTITUTION:Before starting one scanning cycle in thermal recording, a data confirming means 3 confirms presence or absence of print for each block. A signal composing means 4 composes a signal for skipping blocks having no print in the scanning. The signal thus composed is fed to head blocks B1-B4 and a line feed signal 4 corresponding to one shortened scanning time is fed to a line feed means 6.</p> |
