PURPOSE:To provide a method for rationally manufacturing a tiltable headrest by a simple operation without discoloring a stay. CONSTITUTION:A box-shaped hollow core 10 in which only a bottom is opened and an outer peripheral edge of the opening becomes a flange 14 is inserted into a bag-shaped skin 20 in which a bottom is opened, the peripheral edge of the opening of the skin 20 is superposed on a bottom of the flange 14 of the core, and a space for forming a cushion pad is formed between an outer surface of the core 10 and an inner surface of the skin 20. Raw material for the pad is cast in the space for forming the pad, foamed to form the pad 30 between the skin 20 and the core 10, then an angle regulator 50 of an upper part of the stay 40 is inserted into the core 10 from the opening of the bottom of the core 10, and then a plate 60 formed with a stay insertion hole 62 is passed through the stay 40 to be fixed to the flange 14 of the bottom of the core 10. |
