PURPOSE:To provide a manufacture of an outside coated metallic pipe which is free from unevenness on an outer circumferential surface of the pipe and has a favorable appearance. CONSTITUTION:A metallic pipe 1 pierces the inside of a synthetic resin pipe 2 having heat shrinkable properties, which is carried up to a heating device 4 by mounting on a cradle 31 of the first conveyor 3a and the synthetic resin pipe 2 is heated and contracted until the same is stuck close to the outer circumferential surface of the metallic pipe 1. Then the outside coated metallic pipe is transferred to the cradle 31 of the second conveyor 3b from the cradle 31 of the first conveyor 3a in the vicinity of an outlet of the heating device 4 and in the cradle 31 of the second conveyor 3b, the undersurface of the outer circumferential surface of the synthetic resin pipe 2 is supported at a position different from that of the cradle 31 of the first conveyor 3a and carried up to a fixed position. Therefore, the outside coated metallic pipe having a favorable appearance can be manufactured. |
