<p>PURPOSE:To provide a coating liquid nozzle capable of adjusting easily the flow clearance of the nozzle opening uniformly in the nozzle width direction. CONSTITUTION:The coating liquid nozzle comprises a pair of lips 2 and 3 defining the discharge opening of coating liquid, nozzle blocks 4a and 4b fastened by bolts 5 and 6 to form coating liquid passages 8 and 9 between the lips 2 and 3, adjusting bolts 1 and 10, each having an internally threaded hole 1a and 10a formed respectively through the centers thereof, insertable above and below the bolt 5 respectively on the side of the lip 2 and externally threaded projections 2a formed integrally with the lip 2 and engageable with the internally threaded holes 1a and 10a. By the rotation of the adjusting bolts 1 and 10, the lip 2 is moved laterally to change the flow clearance of the coating liquid passage 9, whereby coating liquid discharge amount, discharge velocity, spray height and dynamic discharge pressure all can be easily adjusted uniformly in the nozzle width direction.</p> |
