PURPOSE:To produce the title particles having spherical shapes, a narrow particle size distribution, and a good flowability at a high productivity by a simple method. CONSTITUTION:The particles having spherical shapes and particle sizes of 0.1-100mum are produced by using a hydrophobic silica as an emulsifier in the step of emulsifying a vinyl acetate resin in an inert medium and then converting the resulting emulsion into a powder.
