PURPOSE:To prevent image inferiority generated by the slide between a dye donating layer and a dye image receiving layer at the time of feed in a system performing thermal transfer recording using an electron image signal. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal transfer recording material, the binder resin of a thermal transfer dye donating material is composed of a non-compatible polymer blend and an matting agent is added to at least one layer among the layers forming the thermal transfer dye image receiving material on the side provided with the dye image receiving layer.
