PURPOSE:To provide a producing method for an oxidation resistant C/C composite material (carbon fiber reinforced carbon composite material) exhibiting high and stable oxidation resistance in a severe high temp. oxidation atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:This producing method uses the C/C composite material as a base material and is composed of (1) a 1st coating process to form a SiC film having a functionally gradient structure by bringing the base material into contact with gaseous SiO2 while heating at >=1800 deg.C, (2) a 2nd coating process to form a B2O3-SiO2 film by successively applying a solution dispersed with SiC particulate into the suspension of SiO2 particulate prepared by hydrolyzing Si(OC2H5)4 in a basic region and a SiO2 precursor prepared by hydrolyzing Si(OC2H5)4 in an acidic region, and heat-treating at >=400 deg.C and next, applying B(OC4H9)4 and heat-treating at >=500 deg.C and (3) a 3rd coating process to form the outer layer of SiO2 gel at >=100 deg.C by applying the SiO2 glass precursor prepared by hydrolyzing Si(OC2H5)4 in the acidic region. |
