摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a belt conveyor device high in belt meandering detection accuracy by reducing or eliminating the influence of speed fluctuation in the cycle of a drive roller upon belt position (meandering) detection so as to improve the accuracy of belt position (meandering) detection and to quicken a response to meandering detection. CONSTITUTION:A belt conveyor device is provided with an endless belt stretched between a drive roller 12 and a tension roller (meandering correcting roller) 14 so as to be driven by the drive roller 12; a sensor 16 for detecting marks on the belt 11; and a control device for computing the belt position and correction quantity from detection signals from the sensor 16 so as to output an operation signal to a correcting motor for driving the correcting roller 14. The conveyor belt 11 has the length integer times as long as the peripheral length of the drive roller 12 or the length odd times as long as the half of the peripheral length of the drive roller 12. The detection of the belt position is executed by the mark detection signals from the mark sensor 16, and the correction quantity of the belt position is computed from the belt position and the meandering speed.
