The invention relates to a process for peroxide bleaching of sulphate cellulose which has been prebleached in an acid oxidative step and thereafter washed. During the last washing or in a last separate step before the peroxide addition, magnesium is added in an amount of 0,1-10 kg magnesium per ton pulp, preferably more than 2 kg per ton pulp. |
