<p>PURPOSE:To provide the piano foot rest by which a desired sound effect is obtained or a countermeasure for a noise can be taken according to the time and place when and where a piano is used. CONSTITUTION:This foot rest is provided with a sensor 5 which detects the vibration of the housing of the piano transmitted through a caster 4 and outputs a detection signal SD, an actuator 6 which is controlled with the control signal SCTL outputted from a control circuit 7 and displaced upward and downward, and a changeover switch 8 which outputs an 'H'-level switching signal S'A' when the piano foot rest 1 is used as a vibration transmitter or an 'L'-level switching signal S'A' when the foot rest is used as a vibration absorber.</p> |
