CIRCUIT BOARD HOLDER AND HOLDING METHOD

PURPOSE: To facilitate the attachment / detachment of a circuit board by using a two-stage card holder for holding daughter boards above a mother board through bus connectors in zigzag arrangement of two stages. CONSTITUTION: Daughter boards 30 and 40 on upper and lower stages are electrically connected through bus connectors 54 and 52 at different heights to a mother board 50. A two-stage card holder 60 is used for preventing these daughter boards from being loosened from the connectors 52 and 54. The two-stage card holder 60 prevents the signal transfer terminal parts of daughter boards 30 and 40 on the upper and lower stages from longitudinally moving and is connected to the mother board 50 by a pair of smaps 62. Then, a main body section 61 is L-shaped and upp and lower freely rotary holding arms 68 and 67 are held. By rotating both the lower and upper holding arms 67 and 68 to pull-in positions around pivot points 59 and 58, the daughter boards 40 and 30 can be detached.
