PURPOSE:To eliminate a decrease in the visibility, to make the display screen bright, and to simplify the manufacture process. CONSTITUTION:In the reflection type liquid crystal display device which has a liquid crystal layer 5 filled with a liquid crystal composition in a macromolecule layer 6 between a light-incidence side upper electrode 1 where a transparent electrode layer 2 is formed and a light-reflection side lower electrode substrate 4, a light scattering member 3 is arranged on the side of the lower electrode substrate 4, dichroic pigment is incorporated in the liquid crystal layer 5, and a white conductive film serving as a lower electrode as the light scattering member 3 is used. |
