<p>PURPOSE:To provide a separator capable of suppressing the sticking of a release agent transferred to a roller to a sheet and preventing the scattering of the release agent transferred to a separating member in the vicinity of the roller. CONSTITUTION:In the separator 24 for a fixing mechanism having a pressure roller 4 carrying a recording paper and applying silicone oil and a separating pawl 25 separating the recording paper from the pressure roller 4, a top end guiding part 27 separating the recording paper from the pressure roller 4and a guide 31 imparting directionality for carrying to the recording paper after being separated are separately provided and a guiding surface 33 set higher than the separating surface 28 of the top end guiding part 27 is provided on the front surface of the guide 31.</p> |
