PURPOSE:To faithfully reproduce the color of an object with a color film and a digital picture processor which have a simple constitution by processing the color correction by the digital picture processor independent of the color film. CONSTITUTION:The picture fixed to a basic negative 100 is converted to R, G, and B analog video signals with one picture element as the unit by a scanner 101. R, G, and B analog video signals from the scanner 101 are supplied to a demodulation processing part 102 to obtain a colorimetric signal. The demodulation processing part 102 supplies this colorimetric signal to a picture processing part 103. This part 103 converts the supplied colorimetric signal to color information of primary colors of a phosphor of a color CRT and subjects it to aesthetical color correction if necessary and supplies it to a monitor device like a color CRT 104 to display a picture where the hue of the object is faithfully reproduced. Further, the picture processing part 103 supplies color information subjected to aesthetical color correction to an output circuit 105 for hard copy. |
