The process involves using switching elements, each of which comprises a diode (Da,Db,Dc) in series with a controlled switch (74a,74b,74c) and a capacitor (Ca,Cb,Cc) in parallel to them. The switching elements are connected to a power source and to an output (73a,73b,73c). An insulating board supports conducting tracks (71,72) to power lines with side tracks (76a,76b,76c,79a,79b,79c) extending from them. The second side tracks (79) are shorter and have a separator extension (75a,75b,75c). The switch is connected between the first side track (76) and the separated extension. The diode joins the second side track and the extension through insulated holes in the first side track. The capacitor lies between the first power track (71) and the second side track through an insulated hole in the first side track.
