摘要 An under-voltage detector (3) responds to a supply voltage (Vs) between lower and higher threshold values, which lies below the min. supply voltage required by the data processor (1), to provide a resetting signal (Rs). A comparator (4) is brought into operation when the supply voltage is above the higher threshold value, with an activation signal (As) supplied upon the min. operating voltage being reached. The clock signal oscillator (2) for the data processor is brought into operation at the higher threshold value, and the data processor is brought into operation at the min. operating voltage. USE/ADVANTAGE - Prevents operation of processor with unacceptable operating voltage. Provides safe operation, low current requirement and direct supply form battery without intermediate voltage regulator.
