Security lock with max. resistance to forcing - has protruding trigger which strikes lock plate on shutting and releases bolt, which is then thrust by springs into engaged position
摘要
The security lock for doors and windows has a bolt (9) comprising a main body (9") and one or more tongues (9'), retracted into a housing by a lock cylinder (19) and a handle core (21). A protruding trigger (27) strikes the lock plate on shutting and releases the bolt, which is then thrust by springs (39) into the engaged position. The height of the main body of the bolt is at least 90% of that of the housing interior (15), while its thickness and that of the tongues are equal to the clear distance between the housing side-walls. Recesses (17) in the body accommodate the lock cylinder and handle core. Guides for the bolt can be provided inside the housing at the top, bottom and sides. The rear end of the body can extend right to the rear wall in the retracted position. USE/ADVANTAGE - Security lock with max. resistance to forcing.
