The connection terminal has an insulating plug socket (3) incorporated in a carrier frame (1) for an electroacoustic transducer (4), receiving the transducer terminal pins at one side. The opposite side of the carrier frame has a circular opening receiving a hollow cylindrical cover cap (9), enclosing the plug socket terminal pins (6,7). The cover cap has at least 2 side connections for the transducer lead wires (11) which are soldered to the terminal pins, before the cap is press fitted with an end cover (16). USE/ADVANTAGE - Electrical connections are protected from corrosive effect of seawater at great depths.
