Process for joining together modules 1A of standard shape and made of plastic or the like for making loading pallets 1 used for transport and storage, by means of which the size of the pallets can easily be increased or reduced by adding modules to or removing modules from the pallet 1. In the process according to the invention, the modules are joined to each other by means of joining pieces 4 which, by means of three-point joints, are fixed to the feet 3 of the pallet and thus form the rigid structure of the pallet. The pallet made up of modules can, if required, be provided with supporting battens 14 or slide protection 18 and a jacket 19 for securing the goods on the pallet. <IMAGE>
