PURPOSE:To obtain yeast fungal cell-containing precipitates capable of providing a protein-containing feed (raw material) of a high purity and concentration, by blending a waste 'SHOCHU' (low-class distilled spirit) liquor with a citric acid cake as a separating agent, pressing and dehydrating the blend, settling and separating the resultant drained yeast fungal cell-containing liquid. CONSTITUTION:A citric acid cake is initially added to a waste 'SHOCHU' liquor and the resultant blend is pressed and dehydrated to provide a dehydrated solid substance and drained yeast fungal cell-containing liquid. The resultant drained yeast fungal cell-containing liquid is then settled and separated to afford the aimed yeast fungal cell-containing precipitates. The obtained precipitates are subsequently blended with solid powder consisting essentially of starch to afford a feed. |
