<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate piping work without using any expansion joint, by cutting a drain pipe in a site at two places and connecting both connection ports, to both the sockets of a divided joint main body, then jointing a dividing joint main body to a divided joint main body, and fitting and connecting a new drain pipe to a branch pipe. CONSTITUTION:This branch joint comprises a joint main body 24, which is composed of vinyl chloride resin and in which sockets 22 and 23 are opened in both ends parts, and a branch pipe 25, branched outside from one side part of the joint main body 24. In the case, the joint main body 24 is divided into two half pipe parts with an axis line A as a boundary. That is, the half pipe part on one side is formed, as a dividing joint main body 51, separately from the branch pipe 25. Mutually fitting projected/recessed parts are formed on the divided edge face of the divided joint main body 41 and the dividing edge face of the dividing joint main body 51. Thus, the divided joint main body 41 in which both connection ports of a drain pipe are connected to both sockets 22a, 23a is connected to the dividing joint main body 51 and a new drain pipe is connected to the branch pipe 25.</p> |
