PURPOSE:To provide a brake device for industrial vehicle, with which compactness of a vehicle can be achieved, and with which no failure in braking occurs at the time of parking. CONSTITUTION:A brake device for industrial vehicle comprises a brake lever 1, a brake shoe working device 4, and a cable 2, by which the brake lever 1 and the brake shoe working device 4 are connected together. The brake lever 1 is provided on a head guard 7, while the cable 2 is provided in a pillar 6. The brake lever 1 is provided at a position where operation at an upper position is easy, which improves locational advantage. An instrument panel can be used effectively, and compactness of the car body is enabled. Since the brake lever 1 can be used as an assist grip at the time of getting out of the car, failure in braking at the time of parking can thus be prevented. |
