METHOD OF BONDING FOR FORMING ETHYLENE/PROPYLENE/DIENE RUBBER COMPOSITE

PURPOSE:To provide a bonding method whereby a vulcanized rubber comprising an ethylene/propylene/diene rubber can be bonded tightly and easily with a rubber of the same or different kind to form a composite. CONSTITUTION:A vulcanized rubber comprising an ethylene/propylene/diene rubber and an unvulcanized rubber composition comprising a stock rubber of a critical surface tension gammac of 25-29mN/m, are bonded through a molten high-density polyethylene sandwiched therebetween, or vulcanized rubbers each comprising an ethylene/propylene/diene rubber are bonded together through a high-density polyethylene melt sandwiched therebetween.
