PURPOSE:To obtain an ionized water generator which prevents bacteria generating in ionized water held in an adsorption layer which constitutes the ionized water from proliferating, and at the same time, restoring the adsorptive capacity of the ionized water generator and features compactness and high practicability. CONSTITUTION:The subject ionized water generator consists of a water tank 11, an outer cylinder 31 which constitutes the water tank 11, an inner cylinder 19 which forms the outer cylinder 31 and a water flow path 18, an adsorption layer 3 in the inner cylinder 19, a second electrode 6 paired with the first electrode 4, a diaphragm 5 provided between the first electrode and the second electrode, a third electrode 9 paired with the first electrode 4 in the adsorption layer 3, and a fourth electrode 2 paired with the first electrode 4 in the adsorption layer 3. In addition, the fourth electrode 2 is a passage 32 for tap water and this passage 32 communicates with the water flow path 18 and the inner cylinder 19. |
