PURPOSE:To suppress cracking due to the generation of high thermal stress by heating and cooling and to enhance durability. CONSTITUTION:When natural graphite and aggregate based on one or more kinds of heat resistant ceramics such as silicon carbide are mixed with a binder, molded and fired to obtain a graphitic crucible, 1.5-2.5wt.% carbon fibers, 1-5.0wt.% mesocarbon microbeads or a mixture of them is combined with the aggregate so that the total amt. is regulated to 100wt.%. |
