PURPOSE:To manufacture a vessel in which a multilayer sheet is biaxially oriented by using a stretcher to completely introduce the performance of the sheet. CONSTITUTION:A method for manufacturing a multilayer plastic vessel 4 comprises the steps of so heating multilayer sheet 1 made of a plurality of thermoplastic resin layers that surface resin 11 becomes its melting point or higher, pressing a plurality of stretchers 3 arranged around a shaft 2 to the resin 11 side of the sheet to axially orient it, and radially expanding the stretchers 3 to radially orient it. The vessel 4 having a radius of curvature of 1mm or more at an end 31 of the stretcher is manufactured. Thus, the vessel has no locally thin part, high oxygen barrier properties, high impact resistance, no recesses on outer and inner surfaces, and beautiful appearance. |
