PURPOSE:To provide highly reliable at-home medical care data without forgetting measurement or causing variation in measuring time by automatically reporting the detection time from a medical institution via a telephone line to a detection means for detecting vital information on a patient at home, and enabling the detection means to be remotely controlled. CONSTITUTION:A detection means 3 for detecting medical data such as the blood pressure and body temperature of a patient at home 1 and a data processor 19 comprising a personal computer, etc., in a medical institution 2 can be interactively communicated with each other via a telephone line 4. The detection means 3 for measuring vital data such as blood pressure, pulse rate, body temperature and body weight, an adapter 5 for converting signals for the telephone line for the purpose of transmitting the data measured by the detection means 3 to the medical institution 2 via the telephone line 4, and a visual telephone 6 are provided at home 1. The medical institution 2 is equipped with the personal computer serving as the data processor 19, the visual telephone 20, and an adapter 21 for connecting the personal computer 19, the visual telephone 20 and the telephone line 4 to one another. |
