New activated synergised glutaraldehyde, which is constituted by the solution of the following products: glutaraldehyde, tetradecyltrimethyl ammonium bromide, 2-hydroxyphenyl, 2- methyl-2-P-hydroxyphenylbutane, benzoazimide or sodium nitrite or sodium silicate, isopropanol, triethyleneglycol, anionic surfactant of the disulphonic acid monosodium salt of didecylphenyl ether type, 15-carbon linear chain fatty alcohol oxyethylinated with twelve moles of ethylene oxide, monosodium diphosphate and citric acid, all of same in the proportions to be stated, whose purpose is to improve the characteristics of those which sterilise the basic product, whilst it increases its useful life such that it has a shelf life of at least two years.
