PURPOSE:To reduce variation of an intake swirl in a low load region by extending a partition plate from between both fuel injection holes of a fuel injection valve to a recess part, thereby closing the recess part for communicating both intake ports with each other without obstructing the injection supply of both fuel. CONSTITUTION:Two intake valves 4, 5 are provided for one combustion chamber 3 in a cylinder head 2. An intake control valve 10 closed at the time of low load is disposed in one of both intake pipelines 8, 9 respectively communicated with both intake valves 4, 5. Further, a recess part 11 is formed between both intake ports 6, 7 in the side of the cylinder head 2, and a fuel injection nozzle 12 having two fuel injection holes is disposed therein. In this arrangement, a partition plate 15 extending from between both fuel injection holes to the recess part 11 is attached to the forward end of the fuel injection nozzle 12. Thus, the recess part 11 for communicating both intake ports 6, 7 with each other is substantially completely closed without obstructing the injection supply of both fuels 13a, 14a. |
