PURPOSE:To reduce a circuit scale and to improve the handleability by sharing a frequency conversion circuit at the reception of a satellite broadcast and at the reception of a CATV broadcast. CONSTITUTION:Upon the receipt of a DSR broadcast by a satellite, a 1st frequency conversion circuit 111 converts the signal into a satellite 2nd intermediate frequency signal and a 2nd frequency conversion circuit 119 converts the intermediate frequency signal into a signal with a frequency equal to an intermediate frequency of the CATV. Upon the receipt of the DSR broadcast by the CATV, the CATV intermediate frequency signal is converted by a 1st frequency conversion circuit 111. Thus, the 1st frequency conversion circuit 111 and a SAW filter 123 are shared and the tuner with a smaller size is obtained. Furthermore, the 1st frequency conversion circuit 111 is used to convert the signal into the satellite 2nd intermediate frequency signal and receives the satellite television broadcast easily. |
