PURPOSE:To measure even a sample in a very small amount with good accuracy and to reduce an error by a disturbing substance such as a protein or the like by a method wherein a filtrate layer and/or a liquid-holding layer are formed on a measuring electrode or on an electrode system including the measuring electrode. CONSTITUTION:A copper-clad glass substrate 1 is etched, and a measuring electrode 3 and a counter electrode 2 are formed. The measuring pole 3 or the measuring pole 3 and the counter electrode 2 are covered with a filtrate layer and/or a liquid-holding layer. When the liquid-holding layer is formed, an influence by a flow rate is reduced and even a sample in an extremely small amount can be measured. In addition, when the filtrate layer is formed, it is possible to reduce an error by a disturbing substance in a living-body sample. In addition, since blood whose viscosity is high is made to reach an enzyme-fixing film and it is measured quickly, an anti-blood coagulant is carried and held in at least one layer out of the filtrate layer and the liquid-holding layer. In addition, a compensation electrode to which an enzyme is not fixed is formed, an influence by the adsorption of a protein or the like in a sample or by a subreaction is removed and a higheraccuracy measurement can be performed. |
