PURPOSE:To test the operations of respective data flow processors independently by providing a switching part and enabling each data flow processors to be connected to a packet transmitting means not through other data flow processors. CONSTITUTION:When the operation of a data flow processor 32 is tested, the output of a host 31 is connected to the data flow processor 32 through the switching part 34. The switching part 34 sends packets from the host 31 to only a specific data flow processor. In this case, the switching part 34 supplies the packets to only the host 31. After this setting, the packets are outputted from the host 31 to the data flow processor 32 and then a communication with the data flow processor 32 is tested. After this communication test, the host 31 sends the packets to the data flow processor 32 in order to test the operation of the data flow processor 32.
