PURPOSE:To improve the document editing operability by adding the information to each document data in a prescribed range, retrieving the document data in a prescribed range based on the added information, and editing a document based on the retrieved document data. CONSTITUTION:The document data are stored in a data storing part 3a for each end of paragraphs (A, B, C...) and together with the additional information (AA, BB...). Then the documents are displayed by means of those document data. The relation between each end of paragraph and the additional information is registered in a data table 3b. When the retrieving conditions and an order are designated like the designated conditions 101, the table 3b is retrieved by the conditions 101. Thus the ends D and A of paragraphs are obtained as the relevant ones. Then the document data are taken out of the part 3a in the prescribed order based on the information D and A. Thus the new document data 102 is obtained. |
