CAMERA STOP POSITION CORRECTION CONTROL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To control a system such that no overrun based on a transmission delay at the time of remote control is caused in a camera stop position correction control system when a television camera is remote-controlled. CONSTITUTION:The system is constituted of a terminal equipment 3 provided with a television camera 1 and a picture coder 2 and other terminal equipment 6 provided with a picture decoder 4, a monitoring television receiver 5 and a measurement section 7. The measurement section 7 measures a delay time TD being the sum of the transmission delay time of a remote control signal or the like of the television camera 1 between the other terminal equipment 6 and the one terminal equipment 3 and the transmission delay time of picture data including the processing delay time of the picture coder 2 and the picture decoder 4, etc. The overrun of the television camera 1 by the delay time TD is corrected by moving the television camera 1 in a reverse direction by the movement within the delay time TD from the stop position of the television camera 1 by a stop instruction signal when the television camera 1 is remote- controlled by observing the monitoring television 5.
