PURPOSE:To recover the surfactant contained in the drain soln. of an electric washing machine. CONSTITUTION:Air bubbles 8 formed by the aeration of a bubbling means are guided to a rotary container 10 from an air bubble introducing route 9. An annular inwardly protruding wall 10a is provided to the upper part of the rotary container 10 and the rotary container 10 is driven by a drive means 11 and the outer periphery of the rotary container 10 is covered with an outer tank 12. The surfactant-containing soln. obtained by breaking air bubbles 8 is stored in a second water tank 6 from the outer tank 12. By separating and recovering the contaminant component of the surfactant contained in a washing drain soln. by centrifugal force, the contamination of a river with the drain soln. is prevented and a detergent can effectively be utilized.
